Associate Director
- What’s your philosophy on life?
In every moment there is all the opportunity you need to become everything you ever want to be.
- What is the most valuable experience you have gained in your business roles?
Most certainly gaining an understanding of how business ‘works’ in real-time and developing the network that is so important in any business environment. I’ve been fortunate enough to work and play in various business environments with different types of people from all over the world. I have provided different professional services to a diverse client base in my career so far (from auditing Oil Palm factories in remote Papua New Guinea to tax advising a professional V8 Supercar driver, to structuring the business and R&D operations of an egg farmer in Victoria, to playing touch football with international Rugby Union players, to recently becoming an Associate of Williams Hall Chadwick). Hands down these are the most valuable experiences I have gained in my career so far.
- What’s the most challenging aspect of your work?
The most challenging aspect of my work is developing new business relationships and nurturing the current relationships we do have – it's this space that is also the most rewarding aspect of what I do. It is challenging to be able to identify potential areas of growth to new and existing business clients, and to provide dynamic, pro-active and intuitive solutions for them.
- What drives you professionally and personally?
That I am part of a firm that is looked at to deliver world class business services to a financially impressive, fast-growing, friendly and loyal customer base – whilst having a great time doing it.
- What goals haven’t you achieved yet?
I'm yet to hit a golf ball in a straight-line off the tee.
- What public figure, living or dead do you admire the most and why?
Ekhart Tolle – it is in his humble and simple perspectives on life that he is able to experience true happiness in all that he does.
- What place you’d like to visit that you haven’t yet and why?
Mozambique and South Africa, so that I can go on safari and scuba dive along the untouched reefs of Mozambique.
