Wed Mar 2 2011Mobile Phones like the iPhone are becoming common place today and many people, including children are using these devices like a normal computer and this can create a problem for parents. We have a possible solution for all parents who have children using an iPhone.
One of our favourite programmes has released an iPhone version, K9 Web Protection is now available to be installed on to your iPhone and rumours are out that there could be versions for Android and Windows Mobile soon.
Some may not remember the first article we did on K9 so I've included a link to that article which can be viewed by clicking here and for all others who wish to try this out on their own or children iPhones, here is the instructions for installing it and as always.
Step 1 - Go to the App Store and search for 'K9'
Step 2 - Install the K9 Web Protection Broswer App
Step 3 - Disable the built-in browser by following these steps
Please don't forget the password or passcode you create otherwise you'll never be able to remove K9 if it causes any problems.
It's that simple and effective.
